Get your pink blazer on and swipe on some lip gloss for the John W. Engeman theater in Northport’s latest production of Legally Blonde The Musical. Based on the 2001 hit movie starring Reese Witherspoon, the 2007 Broadway musical, written by Heather Hach, hints to a lot of the famous movie moments and quotes, but certainly has its own identity and it’s just as good at as the famous 00’s comedy.

Even when she found herself in the midst of unforgiving pain, Christine Amodeo Palmer was able to summon enough strength to smile and laugh for her students and colleagues. The Huntington School District librarian was a fighter and she battled breast cancer with every ounce of energy she could muster before passing away on June 13, 2015. She was 41.
Village museum looking for former academy students
The Sea Cliff Village Museum is reaching out to former students of Harold Ransom Stevenson and his wife Alma Gallanos Stevenson, renowned artists and founders of the Stevenson Academy of Traditional Painting. The museum is preparing for a September exhibit titled “Harold Ransom Stevenson: An American Realist in Sea Cliff” and is keen to include stories, artwork, and memorabilia from those who studied under the Stevensons.

RICHMOND, Va. – Stony Brook football saw 56 student-athletes recognized on the 2024 CAA Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll, as announced by the conference office. Sergeant Brent Reeves retired from the Greenwich Police Department this month, where he served as coordinator of domestic violence crimes and supervisor of the Special Victims Section. Joining the department in 1997 and becoming a sergeant in 2005, Reeves was known for handling domestic violence cases and training officers. Since January, he has been serving as Interim Director of Security for Greenwich Public Schools.
