Orange To Get Over $100K From Dispensary’s First Six Months
Orange will get $108,035.67 in tax revenue from the first six months of operation of the town’s only marijuana dispensary. The changes, if implemented, could alter the existing graduation requirements for public schools across the state — including in Rockville Centre, where alternative pathways such as Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate diplomas are already offered.
Police searching for suspects in Seaford burglary
The Nassau County Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at around 11:48 a.m. in Seaford. Detectives report that a 52-year-old woman was inside her home at South Seamans Neck Road when she heard a noise coming from downstairs. Upon investigation, she saw two men fleeing out the front door. The men got into a dark-colored SUV and drove south on South Seamans Neck Road.
