FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A global cyber outage has impacted numerous businesses, including flights. A Microsoft Windows issue has halted major operations. “Insofar as I can tell, right now it appears to be with large enterprise platforms,” said Michael Hicks, Director of the Center for Business and Economic Research. “Hospitals that are tracking patients, airports, large retailers, maybe transit systems. Anybody with a large database that has to be accessed frequently.”
