Hawksbill Project conducts second St. John sea turtle survey
The Hawksbill Project has returned for a second survey of St. John hawksbill sea turtles, and it has uncovered more patterns and data on the understudied population. The study, conducted over the first two weeks of July in waters around St. John, resulted in 15 sightings of hawksbill turtles, with 10 turtles captured, documented, and released.

Cheney rodeo goes off without a hitch
The 56th annual Cheney Rodeo was held last weekend, July 12-14, at the Bi-Mart Arena in Cheney. Cowboys and cowgirls came from across the country to participate in the rodeo.
