Deputies say Myers was taken into custody on Monday after pleading guilty to the charge and failing to surrender himself to county court on Saturday. After failing to surrender himself, a felony bench warrant was issued.

The Sheriff’s Office discovered that Myers was at his home and said that members of the MCSO, State Police, and the St. Johnsville Police Department responded there to investigate. Myers surrendered eventually and was taken to Montgomery County Jail to await arraignment, according to the MCSO.
