Apple Mountain Golf Club hosting 10th GAM Super Senior Championship
FREELAND – Apple Mountain Golf Club, a host of several GAM tournaments in recent years, will welcome some of them back when the 10th GAM Super Senior Championship is hosted by the popular course Monday and Tuesday, July 15-16. A field of 80 GAM golfers ages 65-and-over will compete in the 36-hole stroke play championship, which crowns an overall Super Senior champion and presents a Legends Division for golfers ages 70-and-over. In addition, a Grand Legend award is presented to the player over age 75 with the lowest score.

Pre-orders available for MP Youth Services ‘Coneys for a Cause’
An annual fundraiser for the Mt. Pleasant Police Youth Services Unit is more than a month away, but pre-orders are now available for larger orders of Pixie coney dogs. Coneys for a Cause is scheduled for Aug. 12-16 at the Pixie, 302 N. Mission St., where customers can get $1.99 coneys while helping the youth of Isabella County.

This is a letter of recommendation for Chris Zimmerman, who is running for County Commissioner in Wheatland and Morton townships. His opponent is Linda Howard who has supported Gotion, even though 91% of the residents oppose it. Celebration of life for Lisa Yanick-Litwiller set for Saturday

First ever Summer Street Fest draws hundreds to enjoy shopping, cars, activities, more
Gladwin welcomed hundreds of visitors and vendors to its first ever Summer Street Festival on Saturday, which lined the main street with arts, crafts, games and more.
