Popeyes offers thousands of free boneless wings to X users

ST. LOUIS – Popeyes has expanded its menu by permanently offering new boneless wings nationwide. The decision to add boneless wings to its menu came after analyzing social media debates regarding skepticism about whether boneless wings are real wings.

Popeyes says there are over 63,000 tweets on X sharing a dislike for boneless wings. In response to the disdain and in celebration of National Fried Chicken Day on Saturday, Popeyes is offering thousands of X users codes for free 6-piece boneless wings.

X users who receive a code must make a purchase on the Popeyes website or app only on July 6 to obtain the free boneless wings.

For Popeyes Rewards members, the fast-food chain is offering free 6-piece boneless wings with a $10 purchase through Sunday, July 14.

The new boneless wings come in six flavors: classic, honey lemon pepper, signature hot, honey barbecue, sweet ‘n spicy and roasted garlic parmesan.

Popeyes says they hope giving away the boneless wings will turn skeptics into “boneless believers.”
