ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Alaska Airlines announced Wednesday they are adding 18 new routes across the country during the winter and one of those routes is out of Lambert International Airport in St. Louis.

Beginning Saturday, Jan. 25 in 2025, Alaska Airlines will add a route from Lambert to Puerto Vallarta. That flight will fly once a week on Saturdays and the flight route will last until April 5, 2025.

"We're thrilled to offer convenient connection for guests across our network with this expansion – whether checking destinations off their bucket lists or setting off to their favorite winter getaways; we've put together an exciting range of options from tropical destinations across Mexico to the most popular ski slopes in North America," said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of network planning and revenue management at Alaska Airlines in a press release.

Lambert won't be the only airport in Missouri to add a new flight route from Alaska Airlines. Kansas City International will add two routes from Alaska Airlines, with a flight to Puerto Vallarta that begins on Jan. 25, 2025 and goes until April 5, 2025, and another flight to Cancun that begins Jan. 18, 2025 and goes until June 7, 2025. Both flights will fly once a week.

Tickets for the flight are available starting evening of July 10 and you can purchase those tickets on Alaska Airlines website .
