ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man appeared in court on Monday after being charged with four burglaries at north city businesses over the past five months.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statements, the break-ins happened on March 31, May 20, May 30, and July 2, in the city’s Fairground, Hyde Park, and College Hill neighborhoods.

Police said Emyshual O’Toole, 23, and others backed a Buick into a Boost Mobile store in the 4100 block of North Grand Boulevard and stole several cellphones, a cash register drawer, and multiple speakers. Investigators said O’Toole dropped one of the cellphone boxes at the scene and left it behind, allowing police to get his fingerprints.
