The St. Louis Cardinals got a little help from the Chicago Cubs in yesterday's 5-4 victory for their first win of the weekend. They will look to win back to back and split the series with their division rivals on Sunday.

Sunday, August 4th: Miles Mikolas vs. Justin Steele

The Cardinals will go with Miles Mikolas (8-8. 4.99 ERA) in the series finale on Sunday. Mikolas finished July with two back to back quality starts. In his last outing, he received the no decision after throwing six innings against the Washington Nationals allowing three hits and recording three strikeouts.

Justin Steele (2-5, 3.38 ERA) is another pitcher from the Cubs who is happy to see July go. After beginning the month with his first complete game in his carer, the 29 year old struggled in multiple starts across the month. He allowed five or more runs on two different occasions in July including his last outing against the Cincinnati Reds.
