Nelly Arrested in St. Louis for Possession of Ecstasy and Driving Without Insurance

Police records have revealed that Nelly was taken into custody in the early hours of Wednesday morning in the St. Louis area.

According to 13 KRCG, 49-year-old Cornell Haynes II, known by his stage name Nelly, was apprehended for possessing four ecstasy pills and for driving without insurance. Online arrest records show that Nelly was taken into custody at 4:45 am, transported to the Maryland Heights Police Department where he was later released.

The Maryland Heights Police Department verified that Nelly had an unresolved traffic citation from August 7th.

As of right now there hasn’t been anymore information released on Nelly’s arrest.

As we previously shared in April, Ashanti confirmed that she is pregnant and engaged to Nelly . The couple, who have had an on-and-off relationship in the past, are excited to be expecting their first child together.
