Oil Spill and Crash Closes Exit and Roadway in Lafayette, Louisiana
UPDATE: The roadway is now open on I-10 and Ambassador Caffery. The Lafayette Police Department has closed an exit ramp and major roadway after oil was spilled on the surface. According to LPD, the I-10 westbound exit ramp to Ambassador Caffery is closed due to a vehicle crash/oil on the roadway.

Broussard Fire Dept. gifted ‘forcible entry’ training door
BROUSSARD, La. (KLFY) — The Broussard Fire Department was gifted a new door to open up enhanced training opportunities for area firefighters. The door is one among 15 Wood’s Forcible Entry training doors that the Louisiana Firefighters Foundation is donating to fire departments across the state in an effort to boost emergency preparedness. The door given to the Broussard Fire Department is the second door donation made in this effort. The first donation was made to the Luling Volunteer Fire Department.
