Doris Ann Kiggans, 76, of Reno, OH, passed away from this earthly life into eternity on July 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born on Old Greens Run Road, St. Marys, WV on March 23, 1948 to the late Bernard L and Olive F. Dalrymple Lamp. She graduated from St Marys High School in 1966. Shortly after, on July 11, 1966, she married her husband, Charles M. Kiggans. She had previously worked for Frontier Local Schools as a bus driver. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sweet friend to those around her. Most importantly, she was a Christian. Doris was baptized into Christ early in her life and, for the past several years, worshipped faithfully at the Wingett Run Church of Christ. Anyone who knew her knew that she always had a loving smile.

Summer-like weather ahead of a rainy week
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - High pressure that has been giving us the summer-like weather and drought has cleared out allowing for a low pressure trough to build in. This will cause clouds to build in overnight which will keep lows in the mid 60s. The trough will cause much needed showers and storms to move into the area on Monday. Rainfall amounts will vary depending on where the showers go and how heavy the rainfall is but we will likely see about a quarter to half an inch of rain.
