Morristown Council continues discussion of empty lot near new Mexican restaurant
The Morristown Town Council continued discussion related to the empty grass lot it owns near Longbranch Saloon. This was first brought up at the council’s second meeting in June, when owner of a soon-to-be-opening Mexican restaurant Oracio Leon attended and asked if the town was interested in paving that empty lot. Leon will be opening his new restaurant in the former Bluebird/Greider’s House.

Frank William Thompson, age 84, sadly passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024. Born December 20, 1939, in New Carlisle, Ohio, he was the son of William and Mary (Eidemiller) Thompson. Frank married Jean Leising on September 2, 1995 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville, IN. He graduated from Troy High School in 1957 and attended The Ohio State University where he was active in the Marching Band and later the Alumni Marching Band.
