Johnson County, IN to Build New $2.5M Recycling Center
Construction will start soon on a new county recycling center in Franklin. The Johnson County Solid Waste Management District Board awarded a bid to Runnebohm Construction Co. last month for the construction of a new 10,000-square-foot recycling center. Greenwood Police Investigating Fatal Crash
GREENWOOD, Ind. — Following a fatal crash in Greenwood Friday night, the Johnson County Coroner has identified the victim. Coroner Michael Pruitt says 20-year-old Connor Stevens died in a motorcycle crash on U.S. 31, near Main Street. The Greenwood Fire Department posted a message Friday night, asking drivers to avoid the area.

GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — A former teacher was arrested by Greenfield police and Fortville police on Thursday for allegedly providing drugs and alcohol to students. Brock Wedgeworth, 45, of Fortville, is a former teacher at Mount Vernon School Corp. and New Palestine School Corp. Wedgeworth has been under investigation by the Greenfield Police Department for the past several months for allegedly providing drugs and alcohol to former students whom he had met during his tenure as a teacher.
