‘Chaotic Tuesday’ to fire up famed sculpture
One of Columbus’ most iconic artworks will come to life during a free and family-friendly event at noon most Tuesdays at The Commons, 300 Washington St. During “Chaotic Tuesday” events, staff at The Commons bring to life “Chaos I,” the kinetic sculpture by the late Swiss artist Jean Tinguely. Commissioned in 1971 by former Cummins President J. Irwin Miller, his wife Xenia Miller, and Miller’s sister, E. Repeat Offender Caught with Methamphetamine in Columbus, Indiana
A man from Columbus, Indiana, was arrested earlier this month after police found about 19 grams of methamphetamine during a traffic stop. Marjorie Marie (Strebel) Noe, 76, of Franklin, IN passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 12, 1948, in Beech Grove, IN to Valentine Joseph Strebel and Elizabeth Marie (Rolley) Strebel. She married Frederick Jerry Noe on January 20, 1974, in Indianapolis, IN; he preceded her in death on April 22, 1999.
