You can enjoy sampling cold beer all while winding through an 11-acre corn maze. Corn mazes are already a popular fall activity, but add in beer, and you've just taken it to a whole other level. I always enjoy a good beer festival, it's a great way to try a bunch of beers and find what you like, without the commitment of buying a 6-pack. You can try a taster, and if you don't like it, you can move on. I'm not even a huge fan of beer, but from attending local beer festivals, I've enjoyed trying different kinds, and to my surprise, I've actually found a few beers I like!
Decatur County Fair Winding Down
(Greensburg, IN) – This is the final day of the 2024 Decatur County 4-H Fair. There were several improvements made to the fairgrounds coming into this year’s event. Alabama Man Sentenced to 57 Months for Arson in Indiana, Family Home and Pets Lost in Deliberate Blaze
An Alabama man has been sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison after pleading guilty to arson for setting his father's house on fire in Connersville, Indiana, resulting in the death of the family's dog and cat. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Indiana reported that 34-year-old Tommy Lee Harrison Sr. carried out the attack after traveling from his home in Birmingham, Alabama. Harrison will also face two years of supervised release following his 57-month incarceration.

Rita Jo Richardson, 66, of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on July 17, 2024. She was born on July 4, 1958 in Greensburg, Indiana the daughter of Clyde and Norma Filler Morrow. She was a 1977 graduate of Greensburg High School. Rita worked at Gecom until she retired. She was a bright light when she entered a room and always had her arms open to give the best hugs. She will be missed so much by her family, but they are comforted knowing she is with her son, Travis and her parents.

Global power solutions provider Cummins Inc. plans to convert its operations in Columbus, Indiana. The $150 million project is expected to create approximately 250 jobs.
