The District 31 Senior Legion All-Section Team was released yesterday, and several Indiana County stars made the team. Homer City Post 493 infielder Braden Dunn and outfielder Rocco Cosentino both made first team. Dunn batted .407 and had an OPS of .985, with 22 Hits, 16 RBIs, and 17 runs. Cosentino batted .378 with an OPS of 1.138, 14 hits, 3 doubles, 4 triples, 15 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
‘Furry Friends’ distributes free pet food on Thursday

Birmingham man sent to prison for setting fire to Indiana home of his city councilman father
A Birmingham man has been sentenced to nearly five years in federal prison for setting fire to his father’s Indiana home, killing two pets. U.S. District Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson sentenced 34-year-old Tommy Lee Harrison Sr. to 57 months in prison, followed by two years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to crossing state lines to commit arson, according to the Southern District of Indiana U.S. Attorney’s Office.
