The National Hockey League has unveiled the 2024-25 regular season schedule and the Minnesota Wild have been gifted with two home games to start before they embark on a three-week road trip.

Minnesota opens the season at home Oct. 10 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, followed by another game in St. Paul Oct. 12 against the Seattle Kraken. Then comes a three-week road trip that will keep the Wild away from home for the rest of the month.

The three-week road trip features games against Winnipeg, St. Louis, Columbus, Florida, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Only three of the seven teams the Wild will play on the trip made the playoffs this season, although St. Louis, Philly and Pittsburgh narrowly missed out.

Overally, 17 of the first 28 games of the season will be on the road before Minnesota gets a home-heavy stretch with eight of the final 11 games in December being played at the Xcel Energy Center. March is also home-heavy with 11 of 15 games in St. Paul.
