Day two of the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival has arrived, and the first day passed without any major problems, less the Black Crowes canceling at the last minute.

The new festival at St. Paul 's Harriet Island — which kicked off with headliners Alanis Morissette, Joan Jett, and Gwen Stefani, who was joined by husband Blake Shelton — has received almost universally positive reviews from attendees. More than the music, it's the experience that has been given the thumbs up.

The majority of complaints posted to social media — you know, the place where people go to complain — have been relatively minor for the first day of a brand-new festival.

"It was awesome," one attendee wrote on X. "Yes, long waits in line for drinks. We didn’t even try for food due to line fatigue. They probably could’ve had multiple clusters of food vendors like they did with the bars. Overall really well done." For the most part, that's the only complaint that seems to have been lobbed at the new fest: long lines for beer and food.

Considering all the things that could go wrong, the festival is off to a strong start.

Saturday's lineup is headlined by the Red Hot Chili Peppers with sets from The Offspring, Hippo Campus , The Hold Steady , Soul Asylum, and others.
