Minnesota native Sunisa Lee overcame a scary-looking fall during her warmup to perform a marvelous routine on the uneven bars at the Olympic all-around gymnastics team final Tuesday in Paris, France.

Lee's fall saw her miss the high bar and slam face first onto the padding below. Video shows Lee bouncing up in some discomfort after the belly flop, but she was apparently no worse for wear.

Lee, the 21-year-old from St. Paul, then crushed her official routine on the uneven bars with a score of 14.566.

Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles, her American teammates, scored 14.400 and 14.366 on the uneven bars, respectively.

Team USA was leading the all-around team final at the time this story was published.

Lee and Biles will competing for gold in the all-around women's individual final on Thursday, with Lee going for medals in the individual uneven bars on Aug. 4 and the balance beam on Aug. 5.
