Grand Island, Neb. — A Grand Island man is in trouble after police said he led them on a chase, and then they found drugs in his undergarments. David Anderson is facing several charges, including possession of a controlled substance, flight to avoid arrest, and 2 stop sign violations.

Hall County judge orders competency hearing for suspect in rest stop killing
GRAND ISLAND — A Hall County judge ordered a competency evaluation Tuesday for the 22-year-old man accused of killing a man at an Interstate 80 rest area. Jeff Loeffler, the attorney for James D. Thompson Jr., said he has concerns about the mental competency of his client, and asked Hall County Judge Arthur Wetzel to order an evaluation.

Police looking for man after reckless high-speed chase in Grand Island
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Grand Island Police are looking for an Alda man after they say he fled from officers and drove recklessly with his son in the car on Friday.
