Hornady pleads not guilty to DUI, wants jury trial
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - An executive at a prominent Grand Island business says he’s not guilty of drunk and reckless driving. Court records show 54-year-old Jason Hornady is charged with first offense driving under the influence, second offense reckless driving, racing on a highway and speeding. Hornady’s attorney entered a written not guilty plea to all charges in Hall County Court and requested a jury trial. The trial is scheduled Sept. 16.

GI Home Federal Host Hastings For League Title
(Grand Island, NE) - The Grand Island Home Federal baseball team will host Hastings Five Points Bank tonight at Ryder Park for the Cornhusker League championship game. GI finished the league going 7-1 with their only loss at Kearney. Hastings finished second with a 5-3 record. Kearney at 4-4, North Platte at 3-5, and Columbus at 1-7 to round out the standings.
