Robin ‘Reub’ Hendricksen
Robin “Reub” Lynn Hendricksen, age 71 of Grand Island, died on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 as a result of a car accident in York. He was born on October 29, 1952 to Clyde and Florice (Chubbik) in Callaway. On February 14, 1981, Robin was united in marriage to Tammi Sheets and they later divorced.
Leaders from region gather for new economic development work
GRAND ISLAND — Around 100 leaders from central Nebraska gathered here Thursday to plant the seeds for a new, regional approach to economic development. Leaders from throughout the 25-county Central Community College service territory planned to meet for several hours at Central Community College-Grand Island as part of the 6 Regions, One Nebraska initiative being raised by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and Gov. Jim Pillen’s office.
