A recent addition to the site is a monitoring well, installed by the Nebraska Well Drillers Association and built by Downey Drilling, which reaches a depth of 55 feet. Thanks to a generous donation from Seim Ag Technology, a sophisticated monitoring system has been installed to provide real-time data on groundwater levels.

GRAND ISLAND — A Grand Island man was arrested after punching and strike his roommate in the face with a beer bottle during the evening of Monday, June 24. According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 7:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to 5th St. in reference to an assault.
4-H Shooting Sports National Championships kick off in Grand Island
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Hundreds of 4-H shooters are in Grand Island on Monday ready to compete for a national championship in their respective event. Forty states are represented in the field this year. The Heartland Shooting Park and Fonner Park are the backdrop for the national event. Everything from .22 millimeter pistols, to muzzleloaders will be put to the test this week.
Marquette man facing child porn changes could get up to 150 years in prison
Hamilton County, Neb. — A Marquette man facing a slew of child porn charges is set to be arraigned in district court next month. Hamilton County Court records say Roger Lange, 64, is charged with three counts of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct, three counts of child porn possession, and 12 counts of unlawful intrusion.
Grand Island man sentenced in sexual assault case
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - A Grand Island man is heading to prison in a sexual assault case. Hall County District Judge Andrew Butler sentenced 20-year-old Ryan Beck on Tuesday to 30 to 45 years in prison. He will have 31 days of credit for time served. Beck will also have to register as a sex offender.

According to KHGI, Judy and Mike McNamara of Virginia happily retired back in 2018 and have put on 25,000 miles a year to fulfill their goal of visiting every Texas Roadhouse location across the country. Per the station, the couple visited their first location in Tennessee while visiting family and told KHGI that the experience ignited their passion to keep going.
