Green Lemon Heads to St. Pete

Ciccio Restaurant Group , the hospitality company behind concepts like Taco Dirty and Fresh Kitchen , is preparing to launch a second outpost of its Green Lemon Mexican restaurant brand, according to recent coverage by Creative Loafing Tampa . The new location is planned for St. Petersburg .

“While no exact opening date was given, the new 150-seat, 2,580-square-foot space hopes to debut by this fall,” the coverage says.

The Green Lemon menu opens with appetizers and a selection of Fiesta Bowls like the Habanero Beef ( Spicy shredded brisket, shredded carrot, and pico de gallo; tossed with a mojo vinaigrette, drizzled with Sriracha aioli and topped with queso crumbles ). A menu of Street Tacos offers choices like Carnitas ( ancho braised pork, salsa fresca, crisp cabbage, queso fresco, chile de arbol sauce ) and Kung Fu’d Tuna ( Blackened seared rare tuna, pickled red onion, mango, cucumber, sliced avocado, cilantro, sriracha aioli, sesame seeds ).

The new location will open at 4400 Fourth Street North , on the northwest corner of the intersection with Fourth Street North , just across the street from Fresh Kitchen.
