Calculating the average ratings of the city’s eateries and the prices of local cooking classes, the travel insurance company gave St. Pete an overall rating of 7.16, putting it at the top of the list.

The company found that the average cost of a meal at a restaurant in St. Petersburg was at about $58 for a three-course meal while cooking classes typically fall around $94.

“This is the perfect city for foodies to explore with some of the best ratings in the study for their cafés and restaurants,” InsureMyTrip wrote. “Their cafés have an average rating of 4.52 and restaurants have an average of 4.41, demonstrating the high quality of service and food for tourists and residents in which to indulge.”
