ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A John Hopkins facility dog got a special surprise on her 6th birthday.

Brea, the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital facility dog, is a critical part of the hospital’s child’s treatment team. As a full-time facility dog, she performs a range of tasks from keeping child patients calm during a medical procedure to motivating them to go for a walk.

To celebrate all of Brea’s hard work, the hospital teamed up with Dunkin’ to throw her a birthday party in the hopsitals Child Life Activity Center on Thursday.

The pup got to spend time with some of the kids, and even enjoy a pup cup.
