Retail Theft Reported at Sheetz in Chambersburg
On July 20, 2024, Chambersburg Police were called to the Sheetz store located at 875 Norland Avenue after a retail theft was reported by store employees. According to the police, the incident occurred around 3:00 AM when four individuals entered the store. During their visit, one of the group members allegedly stole items valued at approximately $25.00 without making payment.

Charles Michael Dillon III
Charles Michael Dillon III, age 92, of Emmitsburg, Md., died Wednesday, July 17, 2024, surrounded by family. Born August 19, 1931, in Queens, N.Y., he was the son of the late Charles Michael Dillon Jr. and Agnes (DeWitt) Dillon. He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley (Bensinger) Dillon, his wife of 50 years prior to her passing in 2008.
