Hagerstown (WBFF) — A Hagerstown man was arrested after he threatened to blow up the Maryland Vehicle Administration building on Friday morning. Anthony Jacob Fritz, 38, of Hagerstown, and an employee of the MVA located on Colonel Henry K. Douglas Drive, faces one count of making a threat of mass violence and one count of arson threat.

On July 1, 2024, Codorus Valley Bancorp, Inc. finalized its merger with Orrstown Financial Services, Inc., creating a significant shift in the banking landscape. Codorus Valley’s stock was transformed into Orrstown stock at a ratio of 0.875, with Orrstown emerging as the surviving entity.
