Big 9th inning fuels Staten Island FerryHawks’ comeback
HAGERSTOWN, Md. -- The Staten Island FerryHawks defeated the Hagerstown Boxcars Saturday, 4-3, evening the series at one win apiece. The FerryHawks entered the top of the ninth trailing 2-1 and had two outs before staging a comeback. After Joe Dunand and Nate Scantlin were quickly retired, Staten Island was down to its last out.

According to True Crime News, in a shocking and disturbing case a Pennsylvania couple, Emily Dickinson 20, and Joshua Coleman 19, are facing murder charges after authorities discovered the body of a newborn baby thrown out of a window in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. The infant was found dead in March and pronounced deceased at the scene. The couple is accused of criminal homicide conspiracy to commit homicide concealing the death of a child and abuse of a corpse.

ELKTON — North East Little League’s 10U baseball team became District 5 champions on Wednesday night with a 7-2 victory over Rising Sun Little League.
