The gunfight that killed three and wounded six at a party in West Philadelphia early Sunday morning started with an argument, city officials said Monday. Police say almost 40 shots were fired, and three guns were recovered from the scene.

Tyjohn Walker-Jones, 16, is being charged as an adult with first-degree murder and related offenses, said authorities in a release last Wednesday, July 17. He's accused of shooting 17-year-old Pierce at the Wallingford Estates Apartments, 2701 Madison Street, according to investigators. Abdullah Muslim, 17, is also charged in connection with the deadly shooting.
NJ man admits to decapitating seagull after it attempted to take fries from daughter: Affidavit
A South Jersey man is facing charges after authorities say he decapitated a seagull.Officers responded on July 6 to a report of animal cruelty at Morey's Piers located at 2501 Boardwalk Avenue.According to court documents obtained by Action News, Franklin Zeigler, 29, of Cape May, admitted to killing the seagull after it attempted to take french fries from his daughter.He then reportedly asked Morey's Piers staff for a trash bag while holding the dead seagull.Zeigler allegedly became irate and uncooperative with officers on an unrelated investigation, which led to his arrest on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.On July 18, he was charged with third-degree animal cruelty after officers obtained witness statements and photos, investigators said.He was released on a summons pending a future court date.If you have any information related to this case or any other criminal activities, please contact the North Wildwood Police Department Detective Division at (609) 522-2411.

Officer involved firearm discharge incident under investigation in Dover
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating an officer-involved firearm discharge. At around 2:20 p.m. Monday, officers were trying to contact a subject, identified as 22-year-old Millard Richardson, inside a vehicle in the parking lot of the Sleep Inn Hotel. Officers were reportedly trying to arrest Richardson as the result of a firearm and gang investigation and had information that he currently had a firearm, which he is reportedly prohibited from possessing.
Work zone speeders number in the tens of thousands
Speed cameras recently installed in both directions of the I-95 work zone at Route 896 in Newark recorded an astounding number of speeders in the first week of operation. The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) tells WDEL News that between July 8th and July 14th, an average of 18,000 vehicles per day were recorded traveling at least 11 miles per hour over the posted work zone speed limit of 55.
