Basil & Board

Basil & Board , the Italian pizza and wine bar, owned by Conrad Venti, Matt Swain, and Brian Kaufman, announced the restaurant is up for sale. The three opened the restaurant in 2018.

According to the restaurant's listing, the Italian pizzeria's asking price is $595,000. The menu includes brick-fired pizza, Italian-inspired appetizers, salads, desserts and rotating specials. The wine bar menu includes local selections, beer, cocktails and a full bar. The restaurant is also one of the only ones in the city with a rooftop bar.

The restaurant has been privately listed for several months but officially announced it is for sale in late June. The restaurant is being sold as a turnkey operation and brand, meaning the business is being sold "as-is," and able to continue operations immediately. If it is sold, the current ownership group would be consultants to whomever purchased the business, as stated in the restaurant's press release.

"We are excited about the opportunity to hand off Basil & Board to a restauranteur with the expertise and passion to scale the business further than our bandwidth allows at this time," Kaufman wrote in an email.

Jubilee Champagne and Dessert Bar

Jubilee Champagne and Dessert Bar in Independence is for sale by owner Dana Hueberger, who opened the shop in 2018. In a Facebook post , she wrote she is selling the business to pursue other opportunities.

The sale of the turnkey business would include all inventory and equipment, according to a listing on Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices . It is currently listed on sale for $225,000.

Phil's Bar & Grill

Phil's Bar & Grill business and property is on sale for $1 million. The bar and pool hall is on sale through Mike Vego of Sundance Realty, according to the business' LoopNet listing .

The business has been owned by Brandon Decamp since 2022 and has been listed online for a few months.

The property has a recently upgraded interior for a bar and pool hall, with ten tables included, according to the listing. For more info on the property and business, see the listing.
