Clemson lacrosse flips another 5-star recruit from Syracuse, midfielder Aubrie Eisfeld
After flipping the commitment of the No. 1 player in the 2025 class, Alexa Spallina, from Syracuse to Clemson, the Tigers have flipped another 5-star recruit from the Orange. Eisfeld is currently the No. 6 overall player in the class, making this already stacked Clemson recruiting class that much more stacked. Head coach Allison Kwolek has been on fire lately recruiting, with the program trending in the right direction. As reported by Inside Lacrosse, Eisfeld initially committed to Kayla Treanor and the Syracuse Orange on September 19. Hailing from Bayport-Blue Point High School in New York, Eisfeld is a talented midfielder. She plays club lacrosse for the Long Island Yellow Jackets 2025 Spallina team alongside fellow standout player Alexa Spallina.
A rip current warning is in effect for July Fourth beachgoers in the Lowcountry
LOWCOUNTRY, S.C. (WCIV) — There will be a moderate risk for rip currents all day July fourth. The South Carolina National Weather Service (SC NWS) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) warns Fourth of July beach goers to use caution when celebrating at the beach. There will be high likelihood of rip currents developing at Isle of Palms, Folly Beach, Hilton Head and Tybee beach.
Gov. Henry McMaster vetoes plan that would have benefited SC coastal property owners building sea walls
Aside from laying out which line items he was striking, the governor also touted some of the changes in the final budget, including raises for teachers and law enforcement, $200 million in funding for bridge replacements and repairs, and cutting the state's personal income tax rate from 6.4% to 6.2%.
