New Amazon facility opens in Fayetteville
The giant new Amazon Fulfillment Center near Fort Liberty is starting to show signs of life. The new Amazon facility opened in June in Fayetteville at 6309 Bragg Blvd. The 1.3 million-square-foot-facility located in the Military Business Park was supposed to open in 2023, but a representative from Amazon told WRAL News the delay won't stop the company in its plans to hire 1,000 employees at the site.

Henrico native featured on ’16 And Pregnant’ dies at 27
A Henrico native who appeared on the MTV Show 16 and Pregnant in 2014 has died, multiple entertainment websites reported Monday. Autumn Oxley Crittendon died July 20 at her home in Henrico at the age of 27, following reports of a medical emergency for which Henrico Fire and EMS officials had been called.
