    SALINE COUNTY COMMISSION APPROVES IPAD PURCHASE FOR VOTER CHECK-IN

    Voters in Saline County will check into their polling place next month on new iPads.

    A request from Saline County Clerk Brittni Burton for 29 new iPads was approved by the county commission at its regular session Wednesday morning. Burton says the previous devices are no longer able to run the latest software.

    The iPads will cost $52,620, with an annual license fee of $4350.

    Also at Wednesday’s session, county commissioners approved the bid from BBL Auto Express for snow removal services for the Sheriff’s Department later this year, adopted a resolution in support of a Missouri Main Street grant application for downtown Marshall, and authorized prosecutor Tim Thompson to sign an opioid settlement with Kroger on behalf of Saline County.
