SALISBURY — The days are longer. The weather is hotter. Summer is finally here. Enjoy your evenings with Summerfest.

This is a free event series that travels to different parks during the summer. Experience a live DJ, sports equipment and inflatables fun. There will be themes for each dates as well.

On July 11 we will be at Billy Gene Jackson Sr. Park, 428 Lake St. in Salisbury, for our all-star sports themed Summerfest. Come out to play some football or maybe even try out fishing at the dock.

The July 25 Summerfest is happening at Doverdale Playground located at Decatur Avenue and Johnson Street in Salisbury. The arts is the theme for this one, so get ready to try your hand at some arts and crafts.

We finish up the Summerfest series at Indian Village Playground located at 903 Manoa Blvd. in Salisbury, on Aug. 8. Bring your bathing suit because this one is water themed. Cool down with water toys and games just when the summer heat is at its peak.

Don’t worry, every Summerfest event will still have free hot dogs, snacks and drinks for all children. Each event runs from 5-8 p.m.
