Delaware State Police have identified the man killed in a car crash in Delmar Friday night as 48-year-old King Dona.

Around 9:30 p.m., Dona was driving a Subaru Outback south on Providence Church Road when he failed to stop at the stop sign at Delmar Road, police said in a news release. His vehicle was struck by a Nissan Rogue traveling on Delmar Road.

Dona, of Salisbury, Maryland, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The driver of the Nissan, a 40-year-old Laurel woman, and her three child passengers, suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Anyone who witnessed the crash should contact Master Cpl. K. Argo at 302-703-3264 or send a Facebook message to Delaware State Police. Information can be provided anonymously by contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
