    Rowan County road is open for the first time since January closure

    FAITH, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Rowan County road opened Wednesday for the first time since January.

    According to Rowan County Emergency Services officials, St. Paul Church Road south of Salisbury is now open after two bridges were replaced between Glover Road and Yates Road. The project began Jan. 22.

    The road is also fully open between Old Concord and Faith Rd.

    The project over Crane Creek was completed sooner than anticipated. It was initially expected to be closed until the end of July.
