    Blotter for July 17

    In Salisbury Police Department reports:

    • A larceny of automobile accessories occurred in the 300 block of Long Meadow Drive between noon on July 5 and noon on July 6. It was reported on July 15. The total estimated loss was $35.

    In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

    • A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 200 block of South Arlington Street at 1:47 a.m. on July 14.
    • Tampering with a motor vehicle occurred at Cress School Road between midnight and 7:33 a.m. on July 14.
    • A larceny occurred at Harris Quarry Road between noon on June 12 and 3 p.m. on July 15.
    • Fraud by false pretenses occurred at Peeler Road between noon on July 13 and 3:31 p.m. on July 14.
    • An assault occurred at Long Ferry Road at 8:05 p.m. on July 14.
    • Buying or receiving counterfeit currency occurred at Long Ferry Road at 8:16 p.m. on July 14.
    • An assault with hands, feet or fists and communicating threats occurred at West C Street between 10 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. on July 14.
    • Tony Martin Deese, 29, was charged with misdemeanor malicious conduct by a prison on July 14.
    • Jakiya Miashia Brown, 21, was charged with felony possession of a schedule VI controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute and misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun on July 14.
    • Tyler Joseph Arnott, 29, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance on July 14.
