    Eight injured in Saturday crash

    According to N.C. State Highway Patrol, eight people, including two adults and six children, were injured in a single-car crash at the end of Kepley Road Saturday night. Officials say just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday night a sedan ran the stop sign at Kepley and Goodson Roads, crossing Goodson and crashing into trees. Reports show some of the children in the sedan were not in proper child seats, and there were injuries, but none were life threatening, according to Trooper Whit Efird, public information officer. Charges are expected but the investigation is still open.

    Salisbury Police reports

    • A larceny from Klumac Road reportedly occurred between 10 and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 16. Total estimated loss was $80.

    • A motor vehicle on Laurel Pointe Circle was tampered with sometime between 3 and 4 p.m. Aug. 15.

    • A theft of a firearm from Dollie Circle reportedly occurred sometime between noon Jan. 28 and noon Aug. 15. Total estimated loss was $500.

    • A theft of a motor vehicle from Ridge Avenue reportedly occurred between 2 p.m. Aug. 3 and 10 a.m. Aug. 4.

    • An aggravated assault on South Jake Alexander Boulevard reportedly occurred at 11:45 p.m. Aug. 16.

    • A larceny from a motor vehicle on Park Avenue reportedly occurred between 11 p.m Aug. 16 and 1:12 a.m. Aug. 17. Total estimated loss was $20.

    • A larceny from a vehicle on Fair Bluff Avenue reportedly occurred between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and 6:35 a.m. Aug. 17. Total estimated loss was $305.

    • A larceny from a motor vehicle on 1st Street reportedly occurred between 11:59 p.m Aug. 17 and 9:20 a.m. Aug. 18.

    • A larceny from Faith Road occurred between 1:25 and 1:48 p.m. Aug. 18. Total estimated loss was $62.

    • A theft of automobile accessories from West Jake Alexander Boulevard reportedly occurred between 1:30 and 5 p.m. Aug. 18. Total estimated loss was $70.

    • A report of a strongarm robbery on Lloyd Street was reported at 7 p.m Aug. 18. Total estimated loss was $1,640.

    • Robin Earl Belk, 58, was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing.

    • Ramona Nadine Hostetler, 64, was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with misdemeanor second-degree trespassing.

    • Chelsea Phifer, 45, was arrested Aug. 17 and charged with resist, delay or obstruction of a public officer.

    Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

    • Theft from a motor vehicle on Kepley Road reportedly occurred about 2 a.m. Aug. 15.

    • A theft of a motor vehicle from Relative Road, Cleveland reportedly occurred between midnight Aug. 8 and 4:10 p.m. Aug. 15.

    • Theft from a motor vehicle on Mooresville Road was reported at 6:24 a.m. Aug. 16.

    • A burglary on Webb Road reportedly occurred between 2:30 p.m. Aug. 8 and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 16.

    • A larceny from Old Mocksville Road reportedly occurred between noon May 18 and noon July 30. The theft was reported Aug. 16.

    • A larceny from Cloudview Lane reportedly occurred between 2 p.m. Aug. 16 and 11:34 a.m. Aug. 17.

    • A burglary from Misty Tunnel Lane, Mooresville reportedly occurred between 9 p.m. Aug. 16 2:34 p.m. Aug. 17.

    • Damage to property due to vandalism on Rainey Road occurred at 5:35 p.m. Aug. 17.

    • Damage to property due to vandalism on Bob’s Place, Woodleaf, occurred between 9 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Aug. 17.

    • Keyoshia J. Walton-Stone, 28, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with simple assault.

    • Corey Eugene Angle Jr., 34, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with simple assault and communicating threats.

    • Ernest Marvin Watts Jr., 70, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with injury to real property.

    • Alkesha Leshae Speight, 35, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with driving while license revoked and displaying expired registration plates.

    • Johnathan Morris, 26, was arrested Aug. 15 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

    • Autumn Leasnna Parris, 29, was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with assault by pointing a gun.

    • Devyn Nicholas Hardy, 26, was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with assault on a female and injury to personal property.

    • Bianca Lugo, 26, was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with injury to personal property.

    • Donnell Deangelo, 16, was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with failure to appear/comply, assault on a female, possession of a controlled substance on a penal institution premises and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    • Keosha Santana, 31, was arrested Aug. 16 and charged with misdemeanor larceny.
