RHOSLC Fans Shocked by Heather Gay’s Weight Loss in New Photo With Three Daughters

Heather Gay set off some fireworks of a different kind on July 4th this year. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star posed for a family photo with her three daughters Annabelle, Ashley, and Georgia.
But if you didn’t look closely, you might have missed Heather. She’s lost some weight and looks fabulous. In the photo, Heather blended right in with her three girls.
Fans react to Heather’s new look
“The Gays love the 4th of July,” Heather captioned the pic. Fans and friends alike were shocked by how young the RHOSLC OG looked.
“You four are just gorgeous … The most perfect family photo. So special you girls have each other,” co-star Angie Katsanevas wrote in the comments section.
Lisa Barlow added some red, white, and blue hearts in the comments.
“You and your sisters are beautiful!” wrote another commenter.
“Happy 4th Gays. Beautiful family. Who’s the Mom?“ one fan joked.
“Dang girl! I thought you were Whitney til I zoomed in!” another added.
Others mentioned Heather’s obvious weight loss.
“Holy Ozempic Queen Gay,” one commenter joked, including a red heart.
“Now Heather … how are we supposed to know which of these 20yr olds is you??!! You look amazing @heathergay,” wrote an admiring fan.
Heather’s on the “Ozempic train”
Even though she sometimes received nasty comments from fans, Heather’s always tried to maintain a body-positive image. In 2023, she even thanked luxury designer Gucci for being “so inclusive” of their plus-size customers.
But now, Heather’s lost a significant amount of weight since we last saw her on RHOSLC Season 4. How did she do it? In November 2023, she admitted to People that she was on “the Ozempic train” and had been for “a long time.”
In March 2024, she told ABC News that she “sold out” by using the controversial weight loss drug. “It’s disappointing and sad to know that body positivity was all a big lie,” Heather said. “It’s better [to be thin].”
“I have wasted a lot of years blaming myself and feeling guilty … over my [inability] to be thinner,” the Beauty Lab founder confessed. “If I had just known there was a medicine that would make me thinner with little to no effort, I would have taken it 30 years ago and probably had a different life.”
Heather always believed, “The world will just accept us and love us,” no matter what. But now she’s had a change of heart and decided she was doing her girls a “disservice.”
“The truth is, the world treats you differently [when you’re overweight],” the Good Mormon author shared. “I want my daughters to feel absolutely empowered in their bodies.”
“I don’t want my daughters to feel limited by their [bodies], like I did,” she added. “You have to teach them that they do have the power to change it instead of, ‘It’s just all genetics.’”
