Heather Gay Scores Second Book Deal, Good Time Girl

Season 4 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was amazing. Heather Gay , who was Jen Shah’s ride-or-die, stepped out of her former friend’s shadow. The fact that Jen was shipped off to prison helped Heather achieve this goal. Finally, she admitted that Jen allegedly gave her that infamous black eye.

But during the Season 4 finale, the RHOSLC viewers were stunned when Heather blindsided Monica Garcia . She revealed that Monica was part of the troll account Reality Von Tease. The account had targeted Jen and the other Salt Lake housewives. All in all, the reveal was magnificently orchestrated. But now, Heather is moving on and announcing a new venture.

Heather Gay gets a second book deal

Heather wrote her first book , the memoir Bad Mormon, about growing up in the Mormon faith and then deciding to leave. She also detailed the breakdown of her marriage. The book landed on the New York Times bestseller list, much to Heather’s surprise. “I want to keep doing this, and I want to write a second book , and I want to write a third book,” Heather said after Bad Mormon’s success.

Well, Heather is announcing her second book in an Instagram post. “Honor Code, whaaatt??!!?? I’m excited to announce my second book, Good Time Girl. This book goes where Bad Mormon was afraid to and offers the Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots! on life, love, and most importantly second chances. Available for preorder now!” Heather wrote. The cover showed Heather lifting her shirt, with the book’s title covering her breasts.

Shout out to Lisa Barlow for throwing shade in Heather’s direction by calling her a college “good time girl” during Season 1. Lisa wrote in the comments, “Congrats GTG” with three black heart emojis. Heather replied, “@lisabarlow14 all thanks to you LB! xoxo.” Then Baby Gorgeous sweetly complimented Heather. “No one is a better writer than you! Pre ordering now,” she posted.

But Lisa wasn’t the only Salt Lake City housewife to congratulate the author. “ANOTHER BEST SELLER IN THE MAKING. I am not a reader but with a cover like this and an author who has brought me so much laughter and tears of joy I’m preordering now,” Angie Katsanevas wrote. “Congratulations Heather. I’ve never been so excited about a book … I mean you’ve inspired me to write a novel in the comments. You look amazing. Beyond excited for you!”
