Two local students receive California Latino Legislative Caucus scholarships
SACRAMENTO— The California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) celebrated Monday, July 15, a decade of operation by announcing in a press release that 76 students across California have been chosen to receive a 2024 CLLCF Scholarship. Two students from the Imperial Valley received the scholarship, Joselen Xitlali Contreras, Imperial who will be going to UC Berkeley, and Abbygail Montes, Calexico who will attend CSU, Chico.
