About 40 years ago, I was going through the class that pregnant women and their partner went to and I live in Pa. This was a tour of the Altoona Hospital. While I was going through the class to learn about delivery of babies the instructors opened the freezer where they stored the placentas before they were sent to Europe to make high end face creams, the reason I found out about this was I asked if I could take the placenta home after I gave birth and grow a tree on top of the placenta and then some dirt and I received a loud "NO" from the instructor.
