Asheville police open new public safety office in North Asheville for easier access
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The Asheville Police Department (APD) has opened a new public safety office in North Asheville where residents can file or request police reports. It is located at Fire Station 13 on Broadway Street in the Five Points neighborhood. Residents can now go there and receive the same services offered at APD's downtown location.
SART celebrates its 50th season
Every once in a while, something productive and constructive arises from locker room talk. Take, for instance, one such conversation in 1974 that occurred in the men’s locker room at the gym of Mars Hill College (now Mars Hill University).
