Earth Day is approaching: Where to celebrate it in NJ?

    2023-04-04

How are you preparing yourself and the family for Earth Day? This annual event is held on April 22 and is our chance to show support for the environment.

The world we live in needs as much attention, protection, and care as we give to ourselves. For instance, if we don't protect animals and plants, the natural habitat will be disturbed and this may cause various health and food problems for us.

Celebrate the Earth Day in New Jersey

Luckily, so many people in New Jersey know the value of Earth Day and don't miss the chance to celebrate it in their distinctive ways. Different events are held in different parts of the state, and you can also join one of them based on your actual city, county, or area.

I have a couple of options for you.

    Option#1: Earth Day Nature Walk

If you are in New Jersey or have plans to go there with family this Earth Day, please don't forget to go for the Earth Day Nature Walk. It offers a guided tour at the Ridgefield Park Nature Preserve and is a family-friendly event. Of course, you can bring your camera or smartphone to capture some beautiful moments there. The event is going to be held at Ozzie Nelson Drive Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660 United States and there is no admission fee. For more information, please check Ridgefield Park's Instagram.

Option#2: New Weis Center for Education, Arts & Recreation, Ringwood

Here you can spend quality time with your family and friends learning about different living beings, journaling, and doing all other things that you think are important to know the value of our beautiful planet. You may also get to know a lot about medicinal plants.
