In Chicago, Illinois, the rate of unemployment is 4.30 percent, which is slightly less than 5.00 percent last month. Last year, this rate was around 5.50 percent (source). The problems of the city seem to have become serious. It cannot be said for sure when will they end, and we can only request officials take immediate action so that people don't have to worry about inflation or remain jobless for weeks.

    Walmart closure in Chicago

Residents were a little upset when Walmart announced they would close many of their stores in Chicago, Illinois, and other parts of the country. Half of its stores will reportedly be closed in alone Chicago and the reason is said to be loss of money. These stores are not profitable, according to the company. Instead of gaining profits, they have been losing millions of dollars every year and the annual loss has doubled in the past few years.

Where to begin afresh if you have lost your job?

If you were working at Walmart and have lost your job, you can apply at the following stores and restart your life.
