Do you want urgent housing assistance? ILHAF Program could give up to $60,000

    2023-04-28

An online report indicates that there are nearly 440,700 low-income renter households across Illinois. On the other hand, nearly 150,000 affordable rental homes are available, and this results in a shortage of about 290,000 affordable rental homes (source).

Not only renters but also homeowners suffer due to the lack of resources and money. For example, statistics provided by the Illinois Department of Employment Security reveal that the rate of unemployment is 4.4 percent (source). Of course, when someone does not have a good source of income or is simply jobless, it can be really very difficult to run the house. They may not be able to feed the family properly and cannot educate their kids in a good way.

The good news is that you can, to some extent, get rid of housing problems because a unique program is there to apply for. It is called Illinois Emergency Homeowner Assistance Fund (ILHAF) Program.

What about helping homeowners who've paid thousands in taxes over the years and now have medical issues and need help nowhere near 60,000. Oh right homeowners are here to fund the freebies
