Walmart needs no introduction. This American multinational retail corporation has been operating for a long time. A wide range of supercenters or hypermarkets, grocery stores, and department stores can be found all over the country. Some of them have been recently closed and the reason is said to be poor performance or insufficient profits.

The company was established by Sam and James "Bud" Walton in 1962 in Arkansas. With time, Walmart expanded its roots and became a leading American retailer. Now its stores are in almost all states, out of which several have been closed.
